My friend Barb gave me the greatest tip ever! She said she buys white pearls and colors them with markers to match her card. How smart is that! It works too!!!!!! This is my first (of many) cards using her technique. I colored white pearls with an orange sharpie. Yippee!!!!!! (Okay, so it doesn’t take much to get me excited)…….Thanks Barb!

- I am retired and loving it. I have a wonderful husband of 53 years. We have 3 awesome children, 7 fabulous grandchildren and 6 incredibly precious great-grandchildren. I enjoy reading, walking, biking, card making, jewelry making, stitching and quilling. My winters in Minnesota are spent mostly indoors while in the summer my husband and I spend quality time on our Harley enjoying the beautiful scenery in our area. I hate to cook, love anything sweet and have mixed feelings about exercising.

This is my first ever shaker card. IF I do another one I will use smaller beads, these keep getting caught between the card and the plastic. I used a digital image colored with pencils and Spellbinders dies. I applied chalk to the background of the image and sentiment.
