About Me

My photo
Minnesota, United States
I am retired and loving it. I have a wonderful husband of 55 years. We have 3 awesome children, 7 fabulous grandchildren and 8 incredibly precious great-grandchildren. I enjoy reading, walking, biking, card making, tatting, X stitching and quilling. My winters in Minnesota are spent mostly indoors while in the summer my husband and I spend quality time on our Harley enjoying the beautiful scenery in our area. I hate to cook, love anything sweet and have mixed feelings about exercising.

MSCB 2/17/16

This week on Mod Squad Challenge http://modsquadchallenge.blogspot.com/2016/02/the-great-outdoors.html we were asked to use "the Great Outdoors" in our card.
I used a Tiddly Ink Digital image colored with Spectrum Noir pens for my project.  Originally I had the Happy Birthday in blue letters but I didn't think they stood out enough.  I cut a second set in gold glitter paper and glued them offset to my blue ones.  TFL

  2. Very clever to use the two die cuts together but offset just a little. I must remember this, thanks for the inspiration. Your cards have the sweetest images, Joan, I always look forward to seeing what you create, and you never disappoint!! Great take on the challenge with the pretty flowers, thanks so much for playing along this week over at the Mod Squad.
