About Me

My photo
Minnesota, United States
I am retired and loving it. I have a wonderful husband of 55 years. We have 3 awesome children, 7 fabulous grandchildren and 8 incredibly precious great-grandchildren. I enjoy reading, walking, biking, card making, tatting, X stitching and quilling. My winters in Minnesota are spent mostly indoors while in the summer my husband and I spend quality time on our Harley enjoying the beautiful scenery in our area. I hate to cook, love anything sweet and have mixed feelings about exercising.

Spring Forward

On Wed. 2/25/15  Susan Sieracki at http://modsquadchallenge.blogspot.com/  challenged us to make a card that reminded us of Spring.
One of the things I like about Spring is the way the air smells after a rain. The snow disappears and the tiny shoots of crocus, tulips, and other varieties of spring flowers appear.  With the first Spring rain and robin sighting, I know summer is just around the corner.

  1. Joan, this card is adorable. I love that image. And, of course, nothing screams Spring like rain...lol. Thank you so much for playing along with The Mod Squad Challenge this week.
