About Me

My photo
Minnesota, United States
I am retired and loving it. I have a wonderful husband of 55 years. We have 3 awesome children, 7 fabulous grandchildren and 8 incredibly precious great-grandchildren. I enjoy reading, walking, biking, card making, tatting, X stitching and quilling. My winters in Minnesota are spent mostly indoors while in the summer my husband and I spend quality time on our Harley enjoying the beautiful scenery in our area. I hate to cook, love anything sweet and have mixed feelings about exercising.

Jennifer McGuire is hosting a challenge during the month of November to encourage us to share handmade kindness. This week we were asked to share something handmade with family or friends.
I chose to share some card fronts with my sister.  I gave her 3 different fronts that she can use for Thanksgiving cards.  The first was completely done on the outside and needed her special touch to the inside.  The second I stamped directly onto the card front for a different look. This card she can add embellishments or background papers to along with her inside greeting.  The third card had only the background stamp and greeting allowing her more freedom to create the perfect card for someone.
