I'm not sure if this counts as paper piecing but I cut out those tiny carrots on the frame from the background paper.  They are covering up a glue spot.  I don't do well with glue!!!!!!

I paper pieced the inside of the ears, the cheeks, nose,toes & foot pads with the same paper I used for the frame & 1st layer.

Twins Birthday Cards

I made these cards for my great-granddaughter's 1st birthday.  It is a tradition in my family to always include an X & O someplace on a birthday card.  I thought my X & O banners were a clever way to include them in these.
