My friend Barb gave me the greatest tip ever! She said she buys white pearls and colors them with markers to match her card. How smart is that! It works too!!!!!! This is my first (of many) cards using her technique. I colored white pearls with an orange sharpie. Yippee!!!!!! (Okay, so it doesn’t take much to get me excited)…….Thanks Barb!

You are MOST welcome!!! AND you thought I had a LOT of money!!! HA!!!! This is adorable card by the way...great coloring!!!! AND the pearls are a perfect match!
ReplyDeleteThat Barb is a smart lady. The pearls look great! You can't even tell they're colored. :)
ReplyDeleteJust a gorgeous card Joan as is all your work. Beautiful colours. Hope it won't be long till spring is in your neck of the woods. Autumn officially starts here today.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great tip. I love pearls.
ReplyDeleteLove your card and was wondering what die that tag is. Also did you cut the top of the light green layer only scallop or is it over layed on it, it looks like one layer. Good job!
Thanks for commenting on my card. The tag is called a Grommett Tag, it is by Spellbinders.
DeleteThe green scalloped piece is cut and glued to the edge of the horizontal strip, it is not all one piece.
Thanks so very much for your fast reply. I have some of the tag dies from spellbinders but not that one! You did a wonderful job on that scallop part making it look one piece. Again thanks for answering and love your work.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome.
