About Me

- Minnesota, United States
- I am retired and loving it. I have a wonderful husband of 55 years. We have 3 awesome children, 7 fabulous grandchildren and 8 incredibly precious great-grandchildren. I enjoy reading, walking, biking, card making, tatting, X stitching and quilling. My winters in Minnesota are spent mostly indoors while in the summer my husband and I spend quality time on our Harley enjoying the beautiful scenery in our area. I hate to cook, love anything sweet and have mixed feelings about exercising.

Hi Joanie!! How's the weather up there in MN? I think it's s'posed to cool off this weekend...but my sister (in Mankato) says it's very muggy! ugh! It's just plain HOT here in VA!! Your card is fabulous, girl!! I love the woven look...and the embossing! And, of course, this Mo image is just precious. Beautiful coloring too!! So glad you've joined us for this week's fun challenge at Mo's! Hugs. Pat Frank
ReplyDeleteThanks for your nice comment on my card. The STV challenge was to use lime green and lemon yellow; that's why my watermelon looks more like a big pickle than a watermelon.
DeleteIt is cooling off here, thank goodness!
That woven panel is the cutest touch on your card Joan. This is a great entry for our challenge this week at Mo's Thanks for playing along! :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Joan, with such a cute precious Mo image! Love the colors and your beautiful colouring!

Hugs, Iulia
