Mod Squad Challenge
This week Judy Woodland challenged us to do something different. The challenge was to use a magazine, gift catalog, or any other periodical lying around, in some way on a card.
I chose to make a retirement card. I used page 5 of a Wind & Weather Catalog to create the inside of my pinwheel. http://modsquadchallenge.blogspot.com/

LOVE your pinwheel, how sweet is that! Well done!
ReplyDeleteYou are so nice Donna. The concept was a good one but the final product was TOO BIG. I'll definitely try again but make it a lot smaller!
DeleteThanks for looking and the nice comment!
Well look at you, ROCKIN' this challenge!! I would have never thought to make a pinwheel, where do you come up with this stuff? Love your papers too! Great take on the challenge! Thanks so much for playing along this week at Mod Squad.
ReplyDeleteJudy,
DeleteI thought the challenge could be a card or project so I was going to make a pinwheel. Then after I had it done I read your instructions and it said a card. So I'm thinking..how am I going to make this into a card rather than starting over. It ended up pretty big but I loved the idea & will actually do it again someday with a smaller card & pinwheel.
Thanks for the nice comment :-)
What a fantastic idea for this challenge. Just fabulous. You really are so multi talented my dear friend.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ina...I don't know about talent but I sure have a multitude of ideas :-)
