Interactive Valentine Cards

This weeks challenge on Simon Says Stamp is to make an interactive card.  I have 8 great-grandchildren and thought it would be fun to make interactive Valentine's Day cards for them.  They turned out cute and I think the kids will enjoy them.

Card & matching envelope

I'm not used to making matching envelopes so this was a big challenge.  The card doesn't have to be mailed until Monday so maybe it's still a work in progress :-)

SSS Something New

My something new is alcohol ink on photo paper framed with a new square die. I also tried some new alcohol lift ink with a snowflake stamp on the background piece but I couldn't get it to work. The recommended alcohol is 90% and I only had 70% so I have a much more subtle pattern.  I think it's worth continuing to practice.  Hopefully the next one will be even prettier.

Water colored flowers

I watch instruction videos and they make water coloring look so easy.  Then I try and mine never quite live up to my expectations.  This attempt was done on regular card stock and turned out pretty well I think. The sentiment will be added later.  I'm entering it here
